Adoption Information 

We are open to the public on Saturdays from 12:00-4:00 PM, or by appointment.

 

*Please note* Our  minimum age limit for adoptions is twenty-four years old  due to the number of returned cats from  adopters under that age. We will consider adoptions to younger applicants if a  minimum of 40 hours of volunteering  at Touched By A Paw is completed. This is not a guarantee of approval for adoption. 

 

 

 

Before you visit us

 

Checkout our available cats page to see who interests you. For more information regarding a specific cat, feel free to call us at (262) 473-4769. 

 

Make sure that everyone who lives in your home agrees to bringing a new member into the family. If you rent, make sure your landlord has a pet policy that accepts cats. A home check may be required.

Come visit us and discuss what sort of cat you are looking for. Not sure where to start? One of our adoption counselors can help you decide who is best for you. 

 

 

Adopting your new friend

 

Once your application is approved, we will contact you and set up an adoption appointment. To finalize your adoption, we will explain our adoption policies, and discuss your cat's medical records. Adoption fees can be found here.
