Hello, I am Ruth Hackman of Aerial Stunt Kites in Lake Geneva a great supporter of TBAP. I have some hints on special ways to help our fine feline friends adjust to new homes.
An example I used with my two adoptees:
I bought 5- $5.00 long door mirrors at Wal-Mart, turned them on their side in all the hallways and behind their food stations. In this manner the cats are never alone. When they investigate or even hiss at the image, they find out the cat in the mirror is not harmful.
